2nd Prize in “Future Bus Seat Design” Competition by FKT

I was honored to receive 2nd prize in the “Bus Seat of the Future” design competition, organized by FKT Seating Systems, one of the leading manufacturers of bus seating solutions, as part of a university–industry collaboration.

My project focused on merging ergonomics, passenger comfort, and future-forward usability into a modular bus seat concept. It stood out for its feasibility and user-centered design, earning recognition from the jury.

This experience not only deepened my understanding of product design in public transportation, but also helped me explore how mobility, material systems, and design strategy intersect in real-world contexts.

Collaborating with a sector leader like FKT made this journey especially meaningful. I’m grateful to the jury and the entire FKT team for this opportunity.
